Sweet notes of strawberry candy, juicy cantaloupe and milk chocolate dominate this complex cup from the Mulish washing station, with a lovely floral finish.
Coffee Details
The Guji zone is a world-renowned coffee-growing area of southern Ethiopia. We are partial to coffees from this area, due to the amazing juiciness, complexity and chocolatey notes.
It is home to the Oromo people, many who have lived here for dozens of generations. In addition to growing coffee, farmers plant other cash crops, raise cattle and keep bees for honey. The rich, fertile soil and forested terrain, complete with tall shade trees, makes the area ideal for growing top-notch coffee. After the Mulish washing station was established in 2014, farmers in the area no longer had to make long, arduous trips to distant washing stations. The Mulish team also helped establish the first school in the area.
